Come discover the jewels of your soul on a sacred pilgrimage to the birth place of yoga: India. Home to the Rishis “the ones who see”, to ancient yogic teachings and text, the energy in India is rich and supportive of your evolution.

Join Pennie and Gaia as they embark on an epic journey to their second home, where we will immerse in devotion and practice, and be nourished by wisdom teachings, nature, food, and community.

This sacred pilgrimage will take you on a journey through the majestic Himalayan mountains and ancient teachings so you can come home to your heart, where Truth resides.

We will start our journey at the mystical Sattva Retreat center located at the base of the Himalayas. Here, we will reconnect with our internal rhythm and find peace in the serene and harmonious surroundings. We will also cleanse our spirits in the sacred waters of the Ganges in preparation for the upper Himalayas. From there, we will travel up to Badrinath for a sacred excursion, stopping first to attune ourselves to the deep wisdom held at the temple of the great Maha Vakya Aham Atman Brahma in Joshimath. We will also have the opportunity to experience a soulful trek through the sacred mountains to connect with the healing waters of the Vasudhara Falls.

As we journey down from the higher Himalayas, we will visit Rishikesh, known as the birthplace of Yoga. Here, we will explore and connect with the wisdom of all spiritual teachers and enlightened beings who have walked through this holy place.

To integrate this profound experience, we will spend the last few days at a beautiful oasis alongside Ma Ganga, solidifying our inner knowing and connection to the Creative Intelligence of the Universe.

This pilgrimage is an invitation to transcend the ordinary and tap into the Divine.

What is the deposit? Is it refundable?

A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required to secure your spot. Please read our cancellation policy above.

Do I need travel insurance?

Travel insurance is required to protect yourself in case extenuating circumstances force you to cancel your trip. If, for some unforeseen reason, you must cancel your journey, your deposit is non-refundable.

One option is Travelex Insurance, which offers Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Trip Delay, and Baggage insurance.

Which airport should I fly to?

When making your flight arrangements, please ensure that you arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, India (DEL).

It is your responsibility to book your flights to and from Delhi. Note that in order to arrive no later than October 4th, many of you will need to leave the States on October 3rd. Please reach out to Pennie or Gaia before booking if you have any concerns. Once you have booked your flight, kindly send us the details via email.

We strongly recommend booking your flights directly through the airlines.

How do I get from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport?

Our team will be present at the airport to pick you up and transport you to our hotel in Delhi. If you arrive before the start date of the pilgrimage, kindly send us your hotel details via email.

Do I need a passport?

To enter India, a valid passport that has a validity of at least 6 months is required. You must also carry a second form of photo identification, like a driver's license, and a photocopy of the personal data page of your passport. In case you lose your passport, a copy of it is the easiest way to prove your identity.

Do I need a VISA?

If you are not an Indian citizen, it is mandatory for you to have a valid tourist visa to enter India. However, citizens from eligible countries such as the USA can apply online for a multiple-entry Electronic Visa before traveling to India. The duration of stay may vary from 30 to 180 days, depending on the nationality and type of visa.

We suggest you apply for the E-tourist visa as soon as you make your deposit, as it may take up to a month (in some cases) to receive approval.

You can apply for the E-tourist visa through this link: https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html

A copy of your E-Tourist Visa is highly recommended as it will help you go through immigration smoothly and avoid any complications in case your phone runs out of battery or you happen to lose it.

Are we flying domestically within India?

On October 5th, we will be flying domestically within India. After you have made your deposit, we will help you book your internal flight from Delhi to Dehradun.

When should I depart?

Regarding your departure, you can leave on our last day, October 15th. We suggest booking a flight that departs after 6 pm, as we will be in Dehradun and it takes 5 hours to drive to Delhi or a 1-hour flight. Group transportation to Delhi Airport after breakfast on the 15th is included and will be arranged.

What are the requirements around COVID-19?

As of March 10, 2024, the Indian Government does not have special requirements for entry in relation to Covid 19. Living in a post-pandemic world, we all understand that things are subject to change, and the ability to travel internationally is not guaranteed.

How do I exchange my money?

There is a Currency exchange counter in baggage claim at the Delhi airport.
