Yoga was always meant to be practiced holistically. Himalayan Kriya Flow is a journey through your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies by awakening and clearing your energetic body. Blending Asana with Kriya, Mantra, Pranayama, Meditation and more offers you the greatest potential to experience complete healing.


Rooted in a wisdom tradition stemming from the Himalayas, Himalayan Kriya Flow is an experience unlike anything you’ve ever encountered. 


Through expert guidance of master teacher Pennie Nichols, you will awaken the boundless reservoir of energy within, traditionally called Kundalini, empowering you to heal and igniting your sense of purpose and passion for life. As you awaken Shakti, you feel the Divine flowing through you, experiencing just how connected you are to all things in nature.


Kriyas are energetic practices that combine multiple focuses at one time, building intensity within your system, leading to a transcendental experience. Some kriyas are designed to clear and release karma stored in our bio-memory. Some are designed to charge and activate prana. No two journeys are alike. Come with a willing heart and leave transformed!

In April only, this class will a 45 min ‘Fun Size’ Kriya experience! Beginning in May, we’ll expand to full size 90 min journeys.


FAQ:

Q:  How is this similar to or different from Kundalini as taught by Yogi Bhajan?

A:  While Yogi Bhajan shared kriyas that also work to awaken kundalini energy within the body, the origin of these Kriyas are from a different lineage. The structure of these kriya sets are very different. The technology Pennie has been initiated in is dynamic and holistic in nature.

Q:  What level of yoga experience is recommended for participants interested in joining Himalayan Kriya Flow?

A: No experience is necessary.  Many kriyas may be done sitting in a chair and all asanas offered can be modified to suit your body. The only thing required is your willingness.

Q: What can I expect in the structure of this class:

A:  Class typically begins with seated practice of Kriya and Pranayama, building to movement including ecstatic movement - shaking, dancing - then transitioning into asana flow. Some classes may include partner work. We finish class in meditation either seated or lying down. 

Q: I don’t meditate. How will I know what to do during that portion of class?

A: Meditation in Himalayan Kriya Flow will always be guided. No experience necessary.

Q: Benefits of practicing Himalayan Kriya Flow are:

A: Rewiring the energetic structure of your nervous system, clearing energetic pathways as your frequency is elevated and you have transcendental experiences.
